I really liked re-creating this look and I usually am not a minimalist, but that fact that I can do this look in minutes flat, I may just do it a lot!!!!!!!

New Youtube Tutorial!!!!!

Hi, new post to go along side the new YouTube video. I have had a great response and nothing but love and am so happy I am being received well. I have so much great stuff coming up, most importantly...I am going to be working Baltimore Fashion week, Aug 10-14 2009, and am so happy to finally have my work on such a major platform and be recognized for my talent. It is official, I am online

I am now posted on youtube. I am so excited to finally be there and I have had so many great things and opportunities happen since I lasted posted, a looong time ago, but I will update it all. I am so happy. My first video is inspired by something I saw as a young child and it stayed with me for a long time. When I first saw Michael Jackson's In the Closet video, I was in awe. So beautiful and so sexy, I couldn't help but have a even bigger crush on Michael and I discovered the magic of makeup. Naomi Campbell was gorgeous and the video was stunning, and the song is timeless. So please all go to my page, leave comments and tell me what you think. Hi all, well I have been kinda busy in the last few weeks since my last post. I have worked with the great team of E.L.F. Cosmetics (Shout out to Achelle Dunaway ) and recently did a fashion show for Aria Dress Bridal Show at Trump International Hotel in NYC on April 4, 2009. It was an amazing show and here is the vid, I am right in the opening, getting my work on!!! Oh and another on Chic TV!!!

I will be attending the NYC Makeup Show, sooooooooo excited.
As well as attending the MAC Pro to Pro party in NYC and participating in some of their Artistry Series classes, very excited since I am a MAC addict, should probably get a tattoo for that, maybe. I will take lots of pics and post shortly.

Met two great mua recently at Fairleigh Dickinson's Fashion Show on May 2, 2009. The producer, Elizabeth, was great and a real talent to look out for.

Premier Entry!!!!!!

Hello fellow mua, hair stylist and the vast other beauty professionals. This is my first post, which I am very excited about and thanks so much for visiting my site.

I really wanted to create this site because as a working mua and just all around make up junkie, I really felt a void because as a woman of color, we need to be heard. Don't get me wrong, many companies have foundations that are matching our skin tone, color palettes that compliment our skin and so on, but I never see anything that is directed to us. No videos, no mailers, nothing. That is until me. I am not just for women of color now...just fulfilling a void in the niche market that has amazing buying power that will only increase in the coming years. I have personally done hair and make up for many races and backgrounds and am able to use different techniques to please my clients, many professionals simply cannot, they often alienate potential clients with, "I don't do your type of hair/make up". Simply unacceptable!!! And with the creation of this blog, I will give you tips on the right techniques, and some product reviews that will have us all finding the inner diva in us all...Smooches!!!!!
